One of the most influential artists in my art education has been Lee Hammond. She taught me the key elements of drawing. It gave me a fantastic foundation for the rest of my work. This is a drawing I did in 1997 after I completed my studies with her, while she lived in Portland, OR. I will always be grateful to Lee.
